From the whole type of welding process, including manual arc welding, electroslag welding, stamping welding, brazing, friction welding, argon arc welding, carbon dioxide gas shielded welding, laser welding and so on.
In fact, in automobile production, the above various welding methods are applied, and the specific application of which welding method depends on the equipment level of the factory.
1. Stamping welding. In the automobile welding process, the welding of all large parts such as the basic body, frame, side circumference, five doors and a cover are completed by this welding process. Stamping welding does not need to add flux, filler and other things, directly use a large welding pliers on both sides of the two steel sheets and power, with high temperature and high pressure at the moment of power to weld the two steel sheets together, in fact, it can be considered resistance welding.
2.CO2 protective welding. For some small parts or relatively thick reinforcement parts that cannot be welded by stamping welding, CO2 protection welding is used. In fact, CO2 shielded welding can also be called brazing.
3. Laser welding. Laser welding is well understood, that is, the high temperature excited by laser will weld several pieces of steel together. In the automobile manufacturing, laser welding is mostly used for the welding of large covering parts and appearance parts, such as the assembly of segmented doors, the welding of the top cover and the side wall, and so on.
